Who we are
Hi, we're Saad and Teresa
We're a husband-and-wife team that loves making things. Teresa with fabric and Saad with code. We're also supervised by a dog and three birds, who mostly get in the way but provide good testing!
Our story
It started with a few frustrations
We believe tools should make life easier. And when they don't, they should be made better.
That's how IntelliSew started.
When Teresa was getting into projector sewing, something that should have made sewing easier turned out to be more frustrating than she thought. There were too many steps, too many different tools, and too much time spent figuring out problems instead of ... sewing.
Saad noticed this and, with a habit of usually making things worse, decided to help. Fortunately, this time it worked out.
The goal was simple. Take the problems that Teresa ran into and make them go away.
Our philosophy
Real problems guide what we build
Teresa knows sewing and the little frustrations that get in the way. Saad knows software and how to make those frustrations disappear. That combination shapes everything we build.
This is still what guides IntelliSew today. We don't add features just because they sound cool or look good on a feature list. We add features because they solve a problem that Teresa or someone using IntelliSew has run into.
Most of all, we want to make something that we're proud of. IntelliSew should feel thoughtful, easy to use, and save you time.
Less futzing around with different tools and various settings. More time sewing.
